All aboard the 1906: Where strangers became friend All aboard the 1906: Where strangers became friends and we met the crystal blue waters of Granite Bay.

We arrived at Granite circling around the waves looking for the spot to drop anchor; the engine cut, the anchor rattled down to the ocean floor and what was left was a quiet captivation with the water around us.

Not only did the waves look fun but the water clarity was as good as it gets.

The day wasn’t without its hiccups, but if there was one word to sum up the day – dreamy.
The northern lights soaring high above the mountai The northern lights soaring high above the mountain ranges of Queenstown.

Initially we went down to @triandafilm_ ‘s favourite spot, a stones throw away from his house to set-up a time-lapse and soak up the fading light.

Supposedly a secret spot according to the boys, we wondered why all of a sudden large numbers of people started to show up.

As we packed up, there were whispers that the northern lights would be visible from Queenstown later in the evening.

After a feed and putting on some extra layers we headed back to the spot and found the stars and spires lighting up over Walter & Cecil Peak, providing an evening to remember.
With fresh snow alluding us thus far, on the 8th o With fresh snow alluding us thus far, on the 8th of March a weather window opened up to climb the peak of Mt. Niseko Annupuri.

20cm came down overnight and as we emerged from the clouds on our way to the summit, it was clear that we weren’t the only ones chasing it.

After filming the sunset session, video work became unusable, yet by switching to stills, dropping the shutter speed and shooting in RAW, the last sets of the day come to life in this way.

Starting almost every day at @mountainkioskcoffee the girls quickly remembered our brew of choice, before spending the rest of the day on the slopes.

With variable conditions all over the mountain Rinkan bowl became our favourite run, although short it was certainly sweet with fresh stashes, side hits and space for drawn out turns.

Having been to Niseko before @hoffmannjarred quickly became our Sherpa showing us the ropes and shepherding us around the mountain.

Snowboarding was a new thing for @amberwillcocks, she picked it up quickly and even had time for a few smiles in between some falls and intense concentration.

Japans famed powder didn’t come our way and it’s still on my mind, I guess it’s good to have something to come back for?
A day in Noosa with @loui.little.legend and @rodri A day in Noosa with @loui.little.legend and @rodrigocassianomusic

Taking you to March in Noosa when Loui & Rodrigo won the Surfing Dog Championship taking out the best wave at the Noosa Festival of Surfing.

Revisiting the place where he won his title for the first time since becoming champion, Loui was spotted patrolling the point, talking to the local surfers, enjoying the rainbow and reading about his victory in the paper with his owner Rodrigo.
We’ve all got our eyes on something, some just kno We’ve all got our eyes on something, some just know what they want more than others.

I love the adventure of going to DI, it’s far enough away and wild enough that you never know what to expect with shifting weather patterns and sandbanks, along with wildlife encounters to keep you on your toes.

On this day there was harsh lighting, terns everywhere, small barrels and a group of surfers that couldn’t take their eyes off it.

In what turned out to be one of my favourite days of the trip, the mission to get here with some twists and turns, coupled with a lack of sleep made it more worthwhile and memorable.

I had a pretty good idea that sunrise was going to turn it on for me from Chureito Pagoda thanks to the ‘SeeMtFuji’ website. Visibility from the north (the pagodas location) was rated 10/10 for the morning only, before the clouds rolled in and covered her for the afternoon.

I’d highly recommend checking this website before making the effort to get out there as the mountain is only visible approximately 80 days per year.

Good luck ✌️
